As a five-year-old girl, Nadia Di Tullio would sit enthralled watching the florist at work next door to her parents’ newsagent business.
It sparked a lifelong love of flowers – a passion which she has transformed into a thriving career, with help from Derby College.
Today, her business – Nadia Di Tullio Flowers – has earned a national reputation for exquisite wedding florals.
Her distinctive work has featured in leading magazines and wedding blogs, and she is regularly called upon to provide specialist articles giving advice on floristry.
An interest in flowers has stayed with me since childhood – and, as the years went by, I was determined to move away from a conventional career and dedicate my working life to creating something I love. I thoroughly enjoyed the learning process at Derby College, gaining insights from professional tutors who really knew what they were doing and being part of a varied group of learners who all contributed different skills, knowledge and perspectives.
