Businesses and organisations involved in the event included Rolls Royce plc, Flowerworld, University of Derby, HUUB, QUAD, Derby Museums, Derbyshire Constabulary, several care providers, representatives from the hospitality industry as the Army and Royal Navy.
Director of Student Experience and Pastoral Support Aaron Denton explained: “The Insight into Industry Day was an opportunity for our students to explore their options and gain an insight into industry sectors by speaking to the experts, exploring and researching work experience and job opportunities now and in the future.”
