The Centres for Excellence project, now in its third year, is part of a successful joint bid between the National Association for Special Educational Needs (nasen) and the ETF to deliver the Department for Education’s Universal SEND Services offer.
This will also include solutions from the Autism Education Trust (AET) along with other key delivery partners.
The ETF Centres for Excellence in SEND support step change across the FE sector, working collaboratively and innovatively with leaders, managers, teachers, support staff and whole organisations to promote, improve and celebrate the inclusion of all learners.
Pete Benyon, Project and Delivery Manager for the Centre for Excellence in SEND at DCG said: “We are really excited to continue to build on the great work that has already be done working with the ETF and nasen, and to make new connections in the FE sector to improve the outcomes of all students with our colleagues in other organisations.”
