The group were hosted by tractor manufacturing company Zetor where they were able to test drive the latest machinery, tour the production facility and see the workings of a nearby 6,000 acre farm.
Derby College Agriculture lecturer Neil Townley explained: “This is the third time we have been invited by Zetor to visit their factory and they pulled out all the stops to make us welcome.
“This was a great experience for our students to learn about different farming methods as well as the equipment manufacturing aspect of the industry.”
