Trends within the Floristry Industry – Level 2
On this inspiring course, you will learn all the floristry construction techniques you need to produce creative designs relating to the trends predicted for 2023 by the Flower Council of Holland. The course is aimed at learners wishing to create imaginative designs using the latest colour palate and ideas.

Who is this course for?
The course is aimed at learners who want to make the most out of creating designs using the predicted trend ideas. The course will be mainly practically based but will include some theory to consolidate your learning in the subject.
Entry Requirements
There is no formal entry requirement. You just need a keen interest in floristry.
What will you learn?
You will learn why trends are predicted differently every year and will gain the skills to use the trend colours and sundry ideas to promote or market your floristry.
The course will cover:
- Design, styles and techniques
- Construction methods
- Identification and care of materials
How will you learn?
The course is delivered on-site at Broomfield Hall.
What will you need to bring with you?
You will be required to supply your own:
• Flowers, foliage and sundry items
• Writing materials
• Scissors
• Apron
• Secateurs
How will you be assessed?
There are no formal assessments to complete. However, producing a portfolio to document your progression and development in the subject is your choice.
