Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for anyone interested in crafting and upcycling.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. You just need an interest in creative craft and a willingness to work independently and in groups.

**This course may be free if you earn less than £25,000p.a. Other learners may be eligible to a reduced fee of £240. This is subject to eligibility and funding criteria. Please contact us for more details.**
What will you learn?
- Researching a range of craft ideas
- Selecting suitable recycled materials for different projects
- Exploring a variety of crafting ideas, tools and techniques
- Developing an understanding of health and safety in the crafting environment
- Learning how to live more sustainably through upcycling
- Completing a creative project
How will you learn?
You will learn via group practical sessions and some independent study.
What will you need to bring with you?
Basic materials will be provided. You may wish to bring in your own materials to enhance or embellish your designs and the teacher will give advice regarding these. Laptops can be provided during lessons, but you may wish to bring a laptop or tablet you are more familiar with.
You will need to have access to the Internet outside of the classroom.
How will you be assessed?
There is no formal assessment. However, you will have a personal learning plan and will develop a digital portfolio of work for assessment.
