Course Information for Students

This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in working in, or finding out about, the care sector.

There are no formal entry requirements.

You will gain an understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the care sector and will study introductory topics such as:

  • communication
  • care values
  • health and safety

You will attend classroom sessions. 

You need stationery. 

You will be assessed via classroom activities.

You could progress to the Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.
