Who is this course for?
This qualification will support learners to develop skills and knowledge needed to provide frontline care for vulnerable adults within their own homes, day care centres, residential and nursing homes, and other healthcare settings.
This knowledge and skills-based qualification ensures that the learner can demonstrate understanding and effective practice across both health and adult care.
Entry Requirements
You will need to be working in an appropriate role in the health and social care sector.
What will you learn?
This Diploma is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units listed below cover core competencies while optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs and interests and to reflect the context of their work:

You will be supported on a one-to-one basis by your allocated assessor.
What will you need to bring with you?
You will ideally have access to an electronic device in order to produce your e-portfolio.

You will produce a portfolio of evidence and will be observed in your workplace by your assessor.
