Automotive Technologies Courses at DCG

All geared up for a career in the Automotive Technologies industry? DCG will put you in the fast lane if you want to turn your love of cars into the job of your dreams. You’ll build top-notch technical skills and a professional attitude that sets you apart in the motor vehicle industry.

When it comes to keeping vehicles roadworthy, you need concentration, precision and an eye for detail. At DCG, you’ll learn how to inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle mechanics and electrics with confidence and skill. We can steer you towards roles including autocare technician, MOT tester, breakdown engineer, motorsport engineer, vehicle parts adviser and garage manager.

Our high-specification workshops are a great setting for getting to grips with the latest technology, including electronic and computer diagnostic equipment. Insights into the workplace are also central to your studies so we collaborate with both independent and main dealer garages to offer a structured work experience programme for our full-time students.

Qualifications include awards accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). We also support a range of apprenticeships and deliver part-time courses to help professionals upskill in areas like MOT testing and hybrid electric vehicle maintenance.
