What will the apprentice be doing?
What will you do in the short term?:
- Initially you will spend time learning about the products we offer.
- When you are well versed in the products we offer, you will be shown how to answer phone calls, answer general queries and follow up quotations with our customers.
- Once confident, you’ll also be shown how to administer stock, process invoice requests and co-ordinating deliveries with customers under the guidance of a mentor.
- You will also attend college on day release to broaden your knowledge and skillset.
What will you do in the longer term?:
- As you become more experienced in the role, you will be responsible for producing and managing multiple quotations whilst also learning how to convert an enquiry to an order. Whilst still supported you will have less reliance on your mentor.
- You will also be introduced to other areas of the department with involvement in design, planning and production to broaden your overall knowledge.

Things to consider
A valid driving licence with access to a car is necessary. Unfortunately, public transport is not practical to the Weston Underwood site.
