What will the apprentice be doing?
- Create and issue purchase orders to external suppliers in line with the production planning requirements.
- Track and expedite purchase orders to avoid manufacturing delays and achieve group OTD KPIs.
- Maintain and develop supplier relationships within the organisations supply chain.
- Administer commodity sourcing, and identify innovation and sustainability in the market.
- Data entry for KPI reporting and supplier analysis.
- Generate works order estimates using material costs, labour and manufacturing timings.
