In the boys individual event played over 36 holes Painter finished in 4th place with 72 & 76 = 148.

Olivia Kelly (Erewash Valley GC) won the silver medal in the girls individual event with scores of 81 & 78.

PERFORMANCE GOLF ACADEMY DERBY programme manager Nigel Furniss commented;

Great performances from Will Painter, Will Davidson and James Walwyn successfully defending the title they won in 2014. Another good result for Olivia on the back of her win at St. Andrews in the AOC Open Golf Championship .

All the Derby players are members of the PERFORMANCE GOLF ACADEMY DERBY programme, run in partnership with Derby College. The programme is having a positive effect on the students and their golf preparation and once again Derby College will have a strong representative presence in the National finals of the Association of Colleges golf championships in two weeks time.
