At Derby College, we believe that Apprentices should get the best possible deal. Our friendly group of Apprentices meet at college on a Friday morning, where they receive specific practical and riding training and have an opportunity to benefit from the college resources to help them build their online portfolio. The college supports industry qualifications by paying for the BHS care element of the Apprentice’s exams and full training and support is given on site. With flexible start dates and the chance to select your topics according to your own requirements, we provide tailor-made apprenticeships to suit your individual needs. Course Eligibility

  • ➤Apprentices must be 16 years of age or above
  • ➤Must be in paid equestrian related employment for 35-40 hours per week
  • ➤Undergo initial assessments before starting the programme to ensure capability of achievement
