Course Summary

If you are new to sewing and would like to gain a basic overview of how to sew, this course is a great place to start!

Within a group of fellow beginners over three weeks, you will develop sewing skills ready to start working towards your desired project.

Entry requirements

You need to be aged 19+ but there are no formal entry requirements for this experience.

Course Content

At an introductory level you will be taught a range of simple exercises that enable you to develop a new and more helpful sewing awareness. 

We will cover:

·         Back to basics - zips, buttonholes, sewing seams

·         Working with different patterns and materials

·         Next steps - designing your project
 

How will I be assessed?

This is a beginner course so no prior knowledge is required. Don’t worry - we will tell you and show you all you need to know!
